  7. Evaluation version of Dr Solomon's Windows 3.x and Windows 95 FindVirus v7.86

  10. This version of Dr Solomon's FindVirus is designed to run on IBM PC
  11. compatible computers running Windows 3.x or Windows 95.  Remember that 
  12. FindVirus is just one part of Dr Solomon's Anti-Virus Toolkit.

  14. The full commercial Toolkit includes many other facilities including a user 
  15. interface, TSR, VxD, Virus Encyclopedia etc as well as versions specific for 
  16. DOS, Windows 3.x, Windows 95, Windows NT, OS/2, Novell NetWare, UNIX,
  17. SMTP-compatible email systems, Lotus Notes/Domino, Microsoft Exchange
  18. and Apple Macintosh.  Read TOOLKIT.TXT for more information on this.

  20. If you suspect you may have a virus we strongly recommend that you 
  21. download the DOS version of FindVirus, cold-boot (not Ctrl-Alt-Del) from 
  22. a clean (virus-free), write-protected floppy disk and run FindVirus from 
  23. a write-protected floppy.  This ensures that the virus will not be in 
  24. memory while you are scanning or attempting to repair the infection.  
  25. If FindVirus detects a virus in memory it will warn you with a suitable 
  26. message.
